My name is Janet, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve loved spending time with seniors. Growing up in small-town Iowa, I was always visiting elderly neighbors, helping with chores, and volunteering with hospice. That love has followed me my whole life, and it’s truly my privilege to serve the seniors of Raleigh with warmth, respect, and joy.

Hi! My name is Kendra and am excited to be joining Raleigh Senior Companions and Concierge! My mother-in-law and father-in law lived with my husband and myself for five years and I was their main caregiver taking them to medical appointments, the grocery store, shopping and cooking meals for them as their health declined. I also worked in hospice for a time and had regular contact with families that were dealing in that difficult season. My belief is that the elderly deserve respect, compassion and most importantly feel a sense of worth. I love listening to senior friends reminiscence and play games with them. In my free time I volunteer with The Raleigh Rescue Mission, The Prison Alliance, read, cook and am very active in my church. Fun fact: I have developed recipes and wrote for an internet publication about all things culinary.
